How it works

From first text to last plate

Booking a private hibachi chef at home takes about two minutes. Here's everything that happens between now and your evening.

  1. Check your date and estimate

Tell us your date, city and guest count on the booking form, or call or text 917-590-7038. You'll see a food estimate right away. No payment is needed to check availability.

  2. We confirm by text

We text you to confirm your chef, your date and your final price, including any travel, tax and gratuity for your city. A deposit secures your date.

  3. Get your space ready

Set out tables and chairs, plates, utensils and drinks. Pick a level, open-air spot for the grill (a pool deck, patio, driveway or open lanai) and a covered backup in case of rain.

  4. Your chef cooks the show

Your chef arrives with the grill and every ingredient, then cooks a live fire show and each plate to order in front of your guests. When the last plate is served, the chef packs everything away. The balance is due on the day.

Choosing your spot

Where the chef sets up

Your chef needs a level, open-air area with good airflow, clear of anything flammable, with room for guests to sit around the grill. In Florida, that usually means:

  • Pool decks at private homes and vacation villas
  • Ground-level patios and backyards
  • Driveways and open garages, which also make a good rain backup
  • Open-sided lanais, or the deck just outside a screened one
  • Covered areas under raised beach homes with good airflow

We don't cook indoors, on the sand or on most condo balconies. Not sure about your space? Text a photo to 917-590-7038 and we'll let you know.
